PLEASE JOIN US IN SUPPORT FOR THE UNBORN
SATURDAY, JANUARY 23, 2021
We start at 8:30 inside the church with a word from our pastor and then a guest speaker from the DesOrmeaux Center. Then everyone moves outside on the church property adjacent to Congress St. and Ambassador Caffery Pkwy for a peaceful presence to support life. Social distancing is required, and Pro-Life signage is encouraged.
Our schedule has it ending at 11:00am, however we will support the Louisiana Right to Life Stand for Life outreach by committing to have KC members on hand until noon. All are encouraged to bring water and a snack as needed and a portable chair.
Any inquiries should be directed to our Deputy Grand Knight, Greg Duplechain 337-739-0951.
More information statewide can be found at ProLifeLouisiana.org/standforlife

DURING THE COVID PANDEMIC
1. Only 200 persons will be allowed into the church for each of the Masses.
2. The church will be opened 30 minutes before each Mass. You must stay in your cars until the church opens. You will enter the church six feet apart — one-by-one. You will enter only through the main entrance; the entrance close to the Administration Building will be locked.
3. Effective July 13, the state has mandated that everyone wear a mask in public. Therefore, all Mass attendees MUST WEAR A MASK. All parishioners using church buildings are also required to wear a mask and practice social distancing. Hand sanitizer will be available as you enter the church and when leaving. Masks will also be available as you enter.
4. You will be shown where to sit because of spacing. Please cooperate with the seating given you. It may not be your “normal” seating place. Families (persons) who live in the same household may sit next to each other.
5. At the Bishop’s directive, you are strongly encouraged to receive Holy Communion in the hand only.
6. The Sign of Peace is discontinued until further notice.
IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW
1. The Bishop has extended the dispensation to attend Mass on Sundays until further notice. This applies to everyone, especially the vulnerable persons. So, that means that if you want to attend Mass on a weekday instead of a weekend, you can do that! If you want to continue watching Mass on television, our website or the lived-streamed Mass on Saturday at 4:00pm.
2. CONFESSION SCHEDULE: Confessions will be heard 30 minutes before each weekday and weekend Mass, except on Saturday, confessions will be heard from 3:00-3:45pm.
Let us come together for a special Virtual Bible Study where we reflect on what the early Christians did and how we can be inspired by them today.
